MFLW 2007 archive is hereby OPEN!

Yes, now I officially declare the 2007 Multi-Fandom Lyric Wheel archive to be open!

Stories by universe
Stories by recipient

Despite forgettings, timezone differences and computer troubles, here we are. Now go forth, read, and comment!
You may have noticed I've made separate posts here for each story, so each story can have its own set of comments by folks.
(no, I'm not going to link to all those posts here, they're linked to from the stories themselves.)

Thank you so much for running this. I had fun pondering the story to write. I appreciate all your hard work.=)

Whoo! Thank you so much for all the work you put into this--it's so much fun. *runs away to read stories*

Question (maybe due to the browser I'm using? Internet Explorer, a recent version): I can't see all the text...it goes off my screen to the right, and there's no scroll bar. :-(

[identity profile] izhilzha.livejournal.com 2007-03-17 07:55 am (UTC)(link)
IE version 7.

And it's true of all the MFLW stories I've tried to read so far (about half of them). I have found that I can download the .txt versions and read them fine that way, but I thought you might want to know in case it was something you wanted to/could fix.

I noticed it first when I went to my requested story: http://www.katspace.org/Fiction-Stories-MultiLyricWheel/ChangingAllTheTime

No difference, but that's okay.

Yeah, I just tried it on IE7, having read this, to see if it was maybe just [livejournal.com profile] izhilzha... I'm afraid it's not. :(

[identity profile] izhilzha.livejournal.com 2007-03-18 12:13 am (UTC)(link)
It's fixed! :-) Thank you.

[identity profile] astrogirl2.livejournal.com 2007-03-18 03:12 am (UTC)(link)
The answer to that apparently was "no," as my ISP decided to do some maintenance that would "just take a few minutes" and brought everybody's net access to a screeching halt starting right around the time you were asking this. :) But I see from comments below that it's fixed now, anyway. Yay!

Again, many thanks for all the work you've put into this, and for being organised enough to bring it to a successful conclusion. I alsi liked the way you managed to select an appropriate icon for the posting about each story.

I noticed 'em, too. :)

And, as others have said, thanks for seeing this thing through!

And I noticed them! I thought you picked a good one for [livejournal.com profile] izhilzha's story, considering you don't have any from that fandom.

Yes! Thank you! It was great fun. And with clever Pearl scripts to boot!

Confusion spreads like entropy

You wrote a perl script to assign the challenges.
