Sentinel AU: "Which is Easier?" A police incident two years before robbed Jim of his mobility, and Blair of his life. In the midst of a life as paralyzed as his body, the Sentinel will be given one more (very strange and unexpected) chance to find healing. But with Blair not there to offer forgiveness, how can Jim forgive himself? (probably 8,000 words or so when finished)
Oh boy, I can see that that one will be very angsty! But I like angst when there's a happy/hopeful ending.

Doctor Who/Life on Mars: DI Sam Tyler woke up in 1973, and after months there still isn't sure whether he's mad, in a coma, or back in time. John Smith--a copper, he claims, but Sam's not so sure--muscles into the most disturbing case Sam has ever worked, and Sam begins to see in Smith what he suspects others see in him: a skewed outsider's perspective verging on insanity. Has Smith also traveled through time? Or is there something more sinister in play than Sam has yet figured out?

Ooh, intriguing.

Stargate SG-1: Set during season one or two: the SGC base chaplain runs into Teal'c in the chapel, and tries to answer Teal'c's questions about the Tau'ri God. OC, plus theology.
Ooh, ooh, ooh! (jumps up and down) This one please!

Buffy the Vampire Slayer/Highlander: Heaven and Earth. Tara dies and becomes Immortal. Methos is her teacher and she leaves her mortal life behind her but, one year later, tragedy strikes Sunnydale, and Tara needs to know that her loved ones are okay. They go to Los Angeles, and Methos reluctantly tags along. Has a Tara/Willow slant, so femslash rather than slash, but I figured both would be covered by the slash ticky box! I started this fic years ago after the series ended, but I lost my wind towards the end. It's about 4/5 done, and I'm hoping a little push mght finish it.

Oh yes, I want this one finished! (hugs Tara) Tara doesn't get enough love.

Definitely a hopeful ending for that angsty TS fic. Man, that one's been haunting me for 8 years now. I have to get it done sometime.

How did I know you'd go for the SG-1 idea? Oh, that's right, you inspired that one. :)

Oh yes, I vaguely remember making a comment in your LJ in response to some discussion about SG-1... something along the lines of "why don't you write it, then?"

You can blame lady_smith (aka lizamanynames) indirectly for that one, and more indirectly, astrogirl2: I was doing one of those memes, "give me a title, and I will give you the summary of a story that was never written", and Liza gave a bunch of titles of stories from other people that she liked. "Embodyment of Hope" was one of them (and the original story was Astro's), and that was the story summary I came up with.

Then, later, I realized how the story could be written, and it became a Proper Bunny.

The Sharing Knife/Slayers: A crossover between Lois Bujold's Sharing Knife series and Slayers, involving a very future shocked main cast and where malices come from. Amelia takes a trip across the world and ends up seemingly alone, thousands of years in the future after things go horribly wrong.

Ooh! I don't know a thing about "Slayers", but a crossover with "The Sharing Knife" is irresistible. Me wants.

Tin Man: A Zero & DG or Zero/DG story post-miniseries, where the bad guys aren't all bad, the good guys aren't all saints, and an attempt is made to connect the world of the book series to the "five hundred annuals later" events of the miniseries.
Oh, I'd really like to see how you tackle this!

It was meant to be my ds_c6d_bigbang entry, but I just didn't have time to do the research in the original books before the rough draft deadline came around. The idea's been in the back of my head for at least two years now. =)

He played Zero in Tin Man; not a main part, but a memorable one.
