As I said before, I'm keeping the authorship secret for about a week (well, I'll probably do the changeover on the weekend) and then reveal the authors.

Yay! I would never have thought of something like this to fit this song, but it does fit, so well. Vila trapped in his own isolation, one doomed fight too many, and then, yay, people appreciating him for himself!

I know very little about Blake's 7 - but I could follow this story. I enjoyed the pace of it. The author took enough time to tell the story, which is rare. Even though I don't know anything about the universe (of Blake's 7) that inspired this, the author used just enough words to make sure even those of us who are uninitiated understand well what is going on. Well done!

Thank you. It fit the song so well. Vila started off as a bouncy cheerful guy and ended as defeated and depressed. His fate drove me to write fanfic in the first place so I could write something better for him. He's a lovable character who deserved a lot better than he got.
