Yes, the stories are here! Actually, they aren't here, they're here.

As I said before, I'm keeping the authorship secret for about a week (well, I'll probably do the changeover on the weekend) and then reveal the authors.

And now, you should comment here on them. I have started threads for each story, so you should be able to comment separately on separate stories -- see below.

Thanks! I think it would take a long time to bounce back after all the abuse of S4 and that final blow of seeing one ex-friend murder another.

I think I can guess who wrote this one. Of course, I might get a surprise. :)

Anyway, it's a very good story.

*is in love with this story* I may not be a Blake's 7 person, but this was just good. Well-written, emotional, evocative... *happy sigh*

I'm so glad you liked it! I wrote the thing, then looked to see if you knew Blake's 7, then got worried.

The alternative explanation of why Vila chose that particular alias is that he was a secret fan of Herman's Hermits. :)

Um... you'll have to explain that one. Was one of them called Spider?

Their lead singer was Peter Noone.

I know very little about Blake's 7 - but I could follow this story. I enjoyed the pace of it. The author took enough time to tell the story, which is rare. Even though I don't know anything about the universe (of Blake's 7) that inspired this, the author used just enough words to make sure even those of us who are uninitiated understand well what is going on. Well done!

Thank you. It fit the song so well. Vila started off as a bouncy cheerful guy and ended as defeated and depressed. His fate drove me to write fanfic in the first place so I could write something better for him. He's a lovable character who deserved a lot better than he got.

What had seemed to be liking on Blake's part was probably just people management skills

Ouch!

And there was me, the big fluffy Blake fan, thinking it was all part of his nice nature.

What she said. Vila can only see the worst because he feels he's worthless, so how could Blake like him?

I think I know who wrote this too. Good PGP Vila, very believable, and fits the song very well.

I've been meaning to ask, and this seems like a good opportunity, what does PGP stand for, please?

Post Gauda Prime, ie set after the final episode of S4.

Thanks. I hadn't realised that it would be something specific to Blake's 7.

And PWB = pre [The] Way Back, i.e. a prequel (which is what my brain said while my fingers didn't) to the series.

Thank you! It's what the song suggested to me. Obsessed, me? :-P
