June and July tends to be heavy on the cons. Or maybe that's just for me? But anyway, that's why I didn't vote for those.

I don't actually know of anything happening next year that creates a conflict for me, except for Yuletide in December. Ordinarily Multiverse is the big work-around thing for me, and that's not happening. I suppose there's Remix, but I don't know when that is.

Erm, all of which is to say that, while I haven't filled out the poll due to lack of any useful responses, as far as I know, any time you've got listed is OK by me.

Aug-Oct can be a little awkward if one is trying to outline a novel idea for NaNoWriMo.

Which is why I bailed out of it this year. Darn, it's going to be impossible not to clash with something that I want to participate in, even though Multiverse is no longer:

There are a couple of femslash-related events to consider...

• The FemSlash Advent Calendar :: Dog Days of Summer 2009 runs in June primarily [final dates aren't completed yet], around the summer solstice.
  
• International Day of Femslash 2009 is in July, specifically on the 19th.
  
• The Fragments of Sappho 2009 will be taking place in September.

I'm not sure that a lot of people will be having issues, but these are some potential "roadblocks"...

A summer finish-a-thon would be great for my school schedule -- as in, not occurring during finals (spring) or the hectic beginning of the academic year (fall). XD

March and April are (at least when I'm on the ball about it) when I'm doing the Birthday-thon in my drabble community and working on responses for it. (I guess I better hurry up and finish last year's).

Late summer is vacation time, and this around that time year my brother will be transferring from active Air Force to reserves; he's getting married sometime in there, and probably moving into a new residence in the area. I have no idea yet how that's going to impact my schedule.

Feb-March, for everyone else submitting. March-April-May is when I should be finishing the responses, so that's a just-me thing. =)

And yes: very yay! I've missed my brother a lot since he left, but the last few years (and Dinah) have been very good for him.

Wow, the Finish-a-thon is like a dream come true, and I'd love to participate this year.

I voted around spn_j2_bigbang time, for which first draft writing ends May 1, while finishing up continues through May. This is my first go at it, so I'm not sure how much of that time I'll need.
