But not quite yet. I had originally intended that it be run at the same time as last year, but a few things have put spanners in my ability to run it right now. First, the wiki system that we used last year... I can't use, because I changed my website over to a different CMS. But it worked so well, I'd like to use something similar, but in order to do that, I have to write plugins... which I haven't done yet. Secondly, I'm participating in ficathons that I wasn't last year, and I am behind... 8-(

So, there will be a delay. But expect an announcement some time near the end of April, okay? That is, if y'all still want to play.

I'm looking forward to doing the Finish-a-thon again, so I'm glad it's not happening just yet. I'll be doing Remix through April, so May (or June) sounds great to me.

What wiki/cms were you using? There are wiki's out there that allow bridging :)

Last year I was using PmWiki, now I am using IkiWiki. I know that I could set up a specific PmWiki instance just for the finish-a-thon, but since part of the reason I changed over to IkiWiki was so that I wouldn't have to have a hybrid site, with part of the site done in PmWiki and part in something else, I feel that would be a step backwards.
And since I've been writing a whole heap of plugins for IkiWiki (to give me the functionality I had in PmWiki), this would be just one more. I've just been a bit stumped as to the best way to approach it.

Sure, I'll play! I have a large original writing commitment right now, but not as intense as Script Frenzy/NaNoWriMo, so it would be good for me to do the finishathon, I think.

Of course. And bonus, end of April should bring me clear of the couple of long-fic ficathons I'm currently bogged down in.

.... Except I'd better also get some of the reward fic done by then, too. And I have work/vacation from April 23rd to May 11....
