Dumb crazy month July turned into. However, I'm poking at the plot and the first scene today, so.

I have an outline in my head, which was good since I lost my old one. Sadly, my July Big Bang fic is taking longer than I thought, though I'm getting into a good rhythm and see the end of that.

I've been working on it any time I have a little downtime and my notebook at hand. I haven't typed any of it, and I have no idea how much I really have left to do, but it's coming along! <3

Well, for some reason, I can't fill out the poll, so I'll just comment here. Of the 8,000 words I committed to, I have produced 2,000 -- a quarter of the way done. I'm going to have to scramble to reach my goal in just two weeks! The nice thing is, those first 2,000 words were the first I had written on that tale for over a year, so whether I finish the Finish-a-thon or not, I am back on track with the story.

But I haven't given up hope yet, and I still plan to reach my goal!

I had one chapter done, the second chapter is still in writing due RL. It's been hectic though with hope i believe that i will send the second chapter to my beta soon, though i don't think that i will be able to finish the chosen story as i thought.

But i will try to finish it nevertheless.

The good news is that I'm a third of the way through my promised word count.

The bad news is that I'm nowhere near a third of the way through what remains on my story outline before the story ends.

I swear I seem to get more wordy every year...

Hmm. The likelihood that I will actually be *done* by deadline has become even more remote, as a whole new subplot has just entered the picture. I still expect to get my 30,000 words done, though -- I've written half of them already.
