Finish-a-thon Reminder

Remember, everyone, finish-a-thon stories are due at the end of this week! That's the 28th, Australian time. For most of you that will be the 27th. I shall post the master-list post near the end of the day, to give you more time. At that point, everyone (except those with exemptions) must put their stories up somewhere (a web page, or their journal) whether finished, unfinished, or unbetaed. Then give the link in a comment to the master-list post. I will then allow another week for people to make revised versions, and post them. This way we can have our stories and revise them too.

Dude, unless my beta completely craps out on me, or tells me the entire thing is simply unreadable, what you're getting on Friday is what you're getting, period. I ain't fiddling with it any more after that. I want to be done. (If she does tell me it's unreadable, I don't think you're getting it at all. I do have some pride. :))

Oh, I didn't mean that people had to revise! Only if they wanted to. I wanted to give people an out if they were saying "oh, just give me a few more days, it hasn't been betaed" and that sort of thing. It's precisely because I don't want this to drag on. Nobody gets any extensions, everyone has to post on the date. But if people want to, I will graciously allow revised versions within the first week after the deadline. That's what I meant.

Oh, I didn't think you were mandating it or anything. But I have to give the writing part of my brain a firm one-time deadline and make sure it knows it's a firm one-time deadline, or there's no telling what kind of annoying stunts it'll try getting up to. :)

Oh, bless you! I was more than a little frightened at what I may be putting up on the deadline...and for a fic that really needs to have some detail work, or so I think, anyway.

I don't know if this is the best way to contact you but I figured I'd try this first. I was assigned a Supernatural fic, however I've recently come to have some misgivings about the couple and don't feel that I can post the story I have done. In light of this I would like to do my runner-up of a SGA/Firefly crossover. If I could possible have a week or two extension I think I would be able to create a well done fic. If this is acceptable please get back to me as soon as you can. Thank you.

Sorry, I'm not giving anyone extensions. Those with good RL reasons (such as "my mother broke her hip") have been given exemptions. Post what you can on the 28th, either your unfinished story, or whatever you can do of the runner-up. If you fail, well, that's life. I don't want this thing dragging on.
