Finish-a-thon 2009 Post of Squee
Mar. 18th, 2009 09:52 amOne thing I am missing about this year's sign-ups is the squee that people would do when they saw what people have signed up with. So, in the name of "Take Back The Glee" Year, I hereby open the Post of Squee.
Take a look (and come back to) the Full Author List, and post here about the story ideas that you are squeeful about.
ETA2: I have added links back to this post, so you can click on a link at the individual author page and it will post it here! (I love it when a plan comes together)

Kathryn Andersen
Date: 2009-03-21 04:30 am (UTC)Description: AU. The Master (Jacobi!Utopia!Master, not Jacobi!Shalka!Master) is injured, on the run, in the Doctor's stolen TARDIS. It materializes, and the Master staggers out... in front Jo Grant. He regenerates into the Simm!Master - but he has regeneration amnesia. Jo naturally thinks he is the Doctor, and behaves accordingly. A redemption-of-the-Master story.
Oh, but I want to see this so very, very badly. Would this be an older, post-Green Death Jo? or would this take place during UNIT? Either way, I want to see... especially Jo's reaction when she realises who she's dealing with (even if he is redeemed)
2. Fandom: Doctor Who/Buffy
Description: Sequel to "Doesn't Look Like A Hell Dimension" (see http://www.katspace.org/Fiction/Stories/KathrynAndersen/DoesntLookLikeAHellDimension) in which Buffy and the Doctor have adventures and stuff.
Heh! I just read the first story and am much in love! Especially with the Old!Who cannon that makes this such a plausible and fantastic pair-up. I can only imagine the kinds of shenanigans which might be got into by those two crazy kids.

Would this be an older, post-Green Death Jo?
Yes; it would be far too complicated if the real Doctor was there! This would be an older, widowed Jo (not that I have anything against Cliff, it just makes it easier to write if I only have to concentrate on two main characters).
especially Jo's reaction when she realises who she's dealing with
I have no idea which one of them is going to realize who he is first; because it could be delicious either way (evil authorial laugh).

I know! They'll be such fun to write.
