Finish-a-thon 2009 Post of Squee

One thing I am missing about this year's sign-ups is the squee that people would do when they saw what people have signed up with. So, in the name of "Take Back The Glee" Year, I hereby open the Post of Squee.

Take a look (and come back to) the Full Author List, and post here about the story ideas that you are squeeful about.

Time is out of joint. Both the (5th) Doctor and Sapphire & Steel investigate, and are caught up in its coils.

Oh, my. #5 has always been my very favorite classic-era Doctor, and while I have seen almost no Sapphire & Steel, I've been intrigued by the concept since forever as well. Tempting, tempting....

This one keeps on getting put off, probably because it doesn't win in finish-a-thons because nobody is familiar enough with Sapphire & Steel to want to vote for it. But yes, Five is one of my favourite Doctors too.

I know very little about Sapphire & Steel, but the little I do know tells me that Steel (and Sapphire) really, really ought to have a crossover with Five. And the bits you have posted are incredibly haunting in their own right. So this is getting my vote!
