Finish-a-thon 2009 Post of Squee

One thing I am missing about this year's sign-ups is the squee that people would do when they saw what people have signed up with. So, in the name of "Take Back The Glee" Year, I hereby open the Post of Squee.

Take a look (and come back to) the Full Author List, and post here about the story ideas that you are squeeful about.

Oh man, I did not know Philip José Farmer had written an Around the World in Eighty Days fanfic! I will totally have to seek that out. I have his Moby Dick fanfic on my shelf, but have not gotten around to reading it yet…

He did one for Moby Dick? *I* didn't know *that*! But my favorite books by him were all "fanfics" (though I'd never heard of fanfic when I read them) There was the Fogg one and also one called Tarzan Alive! which was supposedly the "true" biography of Tarzan, and The Apocalyptic Doc Savage which did the same for the "Man of Bronze". They were, according to Farmer all related!
